    Please Help Script Problem

    Hi,

Someone is hopefully going to tell me this is really simple but....

I have spent about 6 hours making an access database linked Infopath document on my works computer and it was working brilliantly. Because I have spent a lot of time studying VBScript, I changed it from JScript to VBScript on the document to see if I could make my form any better. When saving the document I got a disknet error (our protection on the system from running .exe files) I continued saving the document. Now when I try to open the document I get the following error message:

    Form template: W:\C4I\Helpdesk Forms\Online C4I Forms\IGS Application Form.xsn
The following file is either missing or not part of the form template: script.vbs To add a file to the form template in design mode, click Resource Manager on the Tools menu, and then add the file you want.

I also can not open the form in design mode to change it back as I get the following error message:

The following file is referenced in the .xsf file but is not part of the form: script.vbs

I can not seem to do anything and there is a hell of a lot of work involved in this file.

    Please can anyone help

    Thank You

    Hi brittaink112,

I don't know much about DiskNet or how this could happen, but try uncabbing the XSN and looking at the underlying files.  Simply change the .xsn extension to .cab, and open with the decompression utility of your choosing.  It is possible that when you were writing your code it was being saved into a file other that script.vbs and the manifest somehow got corrupted when you saved it.

The only other thing I can think of is that the DiskNet utility is really smart about Infopath forms and can target and destroy script files within them, but I think that's just paranoia.
