I have a drop down list being populated from a sharepoint list. If i open the form in Infopath the list in alphabetical order (which is what i want). When the form is opened in the web browser the items in the list seem to be ordered by creation date.
The default view on the List is sorted in alpahbetical order.

you can do this under the menu, file->page setup. you can have also print views for all of your other views. means that you have a view with all the functionality in where the user enters all the required information and another view which represents the info.

However, I still want to edit forms that are moved from a secure laptop (before submitting them), via usb stick thence cd, onto a LAN. So the reference to the template in the *.xml file must change to the LAN version of the template before the form data ...

Post 22142 is mine but I suspect the title isn't attractive.
How do we publish form templates to two places. We have to provide electronic forms on a classified laptop and also allow the instance data taken off the laptop to be further edited on a controlled LAN.
