Vince,
Make sure you have .Net 2.0 installed too. If so, what order did you install? That can make a difference in IIS. Here is a linkto try. DBXL Installation Produces an HTTP Error 405 on Windows XP Machine

libraries with maps.
Now we are going to use columns instead of maps and use filters more often.
The all our infopath forms have to carry several column values.
For example a change form has to show his change id and location.
We are using infopath 2003.TIA

I have a repeating table that queries an SQL database for product items.
I'm looking for a way (code?) to automatically add a new line item whenever a line item is created thereby not requiring the user tp click pn the "add item" hyperlink.
Does anyone know how this can be done?

Your are on the right track. You cannot use the Save button from the menu bar. You have to create a custom submit/save button which uploads your form to the SharePoint library. This is quite easy to do. Go to Tools, DataConnections and set up a new data connection to submit data to a SharePoint library. enter the path to your library. now add a ...

Tried that but still the users set up in the respective roles are not recognised by Infopath 2003.
