Hi
Using formatting I can display the date and time as 1 January 2007 16:40:39 would this be good enough?

Hi
The simplest way to achieve what you want is to make the third-party data source your main data source (as you are not utilising any other databases), that way the third party data can publish into the form. Then do not submit the data back to the database but rather on email as an XML file. It will sit in their outbox until ...

Hi
Looking at the tutorial I happened to notice that instead of a combo box the tutorial uses the drop-down list box but having tested them both it makes no difference.
If we were following the example the specific piece of work that is causing your issue is the Rule mentioned from step 6 on.
I would perform the tasks in this order to ...

I'm trying to submit a form to Sharepoint. I have tried submiting to both a list and a document library to no avail. When trying to submit to a document library Event Viewer tells me "Exception occurred during request processing," and "Thread was being aborted." If I try to submit to a list, it tells me the same, plus that ...

I've handle that and it works fine. However, when I delete a row from the drop down list, the OldValue is not available. I can post the XML and ...

current() is always so much fun to debug!
One thing that looks suspicious to me (not knowing your whole set of DOMs, etc):
[../@DepartmentId = ../d:PersonalInfo/@Department
You are comparing the @DepartmentId on the same row as d:PersonlInfo
Not that that's necessarily wrong.... but it stands out as a possible issue.

There are certain characters that are illegal to use in filenames:
\ / : * ? " < > |
http:// has a colon it it, but it is not part of the filename.... it is a protocol. That's why there's no issue there.
HTML encoding will not make the colon a valid character. You will need to use another character.

The OnAfterChange event is typically fired twice, once for Operation=="Delete" and once for Operation=="Insert". You will want to handle each of these operations separately.
