You can specify in Submit options in InfoPath whether the form closes after submit. I do not remember if this is only after a successful submit or not. I am not sure if you can have a rule on the success of the digital signing or not but certainly in code you could check the condition or errors and close() or not.

It is possible to set the form to close, or remain open after a submit.
Is there a way to set this at runtime? I want to set it up so that if the document is not signed when it is submitted it remains open, but if it is signed it is automaticly closed after submission. Is this possible?
Thanks.

How did you obtain the web service? Do you have the whole DBXL suite or just the web service? Do you have the latest version?
So on VMWare they both work fine? Maybe there is a configuration issue.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah, I realize that, and I should have specified that I did not want to involve coding (edit: additional rules and obscure workarounds). I am trying to make this as simple as possible for users to intereact with the data, and it seems that the more simplified I make it, the more ...

You can use a field as well as an expression box and do the same things.
I think all you would need to do is create a field in your form. Populate it from your webservice and transform the data how you want. The user can then update the data and have a rule that puts it back into your webservice. So you can just have a front end field that ...

Hello,
I created a custom task pane from saving a word document as an html file. However, despite the fact that the task pane opens when the form is opened, my logo and images on the page are not displayed in the document. Can anyone tell me how to save the word document as a html file and still maintain the same layout and ...

Hi Clay,
Fair point - I'll run that past the guys who want the form in the morning. Thanks so much for taking a look at it for me.
It will be submitted to a SharePoint list and there are a few connections to pull in other bits and pieces of data from various places around our site but as they are not publicly accessible I stripped them ...

OK Ben.
I think the issue is that you have repeating fields within a repeating group. There is no way to associate them together if everything is repeating.
You need to remove the repeating fields under order. I would have four fields OrderNum(which increments), HW, SW, User which are in your repeating Order group. Then on the ...
