Hi Guys,
I designed an Infopath form template. Now i need to populate that form with values from a SQL Server database. Can i acheive this by creating a Data-Connection --> to Receive --> from SQL Server?
P.S: I was able to map all my 'Infopath Form' columns to 'SQL Server backend' data-Columns.
Thanks

I have several repeating sections on a form. I also have a repeating table that users are allowed to insert new records. But when they add new records, new sections are also added to the form from the other controls. How do I fix this?

something like if position() != count(number(position)) than hide could also work.

You should be able to do this with the Sum function and filters. As long as you are outside of a control bound to the repeating group, sum or count will iterate and then you can use filters to limit which rows are counted. I do not think you need the eval's.
So count(orderHW[orderhwid=hwid]) I am pretty sure you can get this to ...

Typically I would use the Max function on the ID field. Usually the ID is incrementing and the last ID would be the highest number. Otherwise you might want to look at adding a field to the table, which was hidden but could be used for performing this logic. Either an increment field of a flag field which on insert would remove it from ...
