What about:

Hi - you'd need to decode the base 64 - and you can get the file name from that. Here's an article with a code sample.
qRules can do this as well - there is a command that you can use to get the file name, and then you'd be able to use rules to check for the characters you are concerned about - it also does a great deal more, and ...

Hi -
I'm not sure why InfoPath requires the use of the same version of Office as it is - but it does seem to. So perhaps instead, you could provide some detail on the issues you are having with using your form in InfoPath 2010?

Wow - that does make it sound like the emailing is the issue, doesn't it? I'm going to see if I can reproduce this, at least it may help you narrow down the troubleshooting. Are you using Office 2010?

When I go into my list view to edit the view, one of the columns I can select is "Edit". The list looks like the top pic in the attached screenshot - you can see in the 2nd pic the selected column. Go into the list view to edit it and use Ctrl + F to search for Edit - it can be hard to find the column name if you have a lot of columns.

If the values are manually entered into the control, there isn't going to be a rule based way to get the "display" value, I'm afraid. You may just want to add it to the end of each address - separated with a somewhat unique character, so you can use substring-after to get the information on its own if needed. Or you could use an ...
