• Re: Required field in the current view

In Designer you should be able to view your data source in the task pane and see which fields are Required. Often you either have to set a default so that they will pass validation or you need to do your own validation. So do not set them as required but check them manually in your form to ensure that the user completes them when necessary ...

  • Re: Mandatory fields only in the view your in??

Yes, but how exactly would you set a field value to the current view name without code?

  • Required field in the current view

Hello. [ InfoPath 2007, Web compatible, No code ] I have the common problem 'required fields in other views'. I guess most of you know what does this mean. I can't submit my form, because there are some required fields in the other views. I tried the most obvious solutions - remove the 'required' attribute from ...

My guess is that you are using the Submit Options, if so you need to switch to using Rules where you can then add multiple submits instead of choosing just one. Are you using the submit in the tool bar or a button. Either way select rules and ...

  • Re: Insert New Row giving validation errors.

  • Re: Timer in Browser form

Hi anotherchrisberry, At least the timer function is working correctly! I'm not too familiar with IP07 OM code, but why do you need a reference to the Main DOM? I would think that you need to call the Submit() method on one of your data source connection objects.

  • Re: How to publish InfoPath form Programatically?

Hi Navneet, Are you saying you want to make an Outlook plug-in that will allow everyone to publish the form to a list of recipients? Or do you just want users to be able to forward the form? I guess I'm just a little confused. Can you give some more details on what you are trying to accomplish?
