Wouldn't an email submit connection work for this? You can use a field for the "To", "Subject", etc. in the submit data connection - just use rules to set those fields to the desired values....

This is a problem I've only seen in InfoPath 2010, and, in my opinion, is an InfoPath bug.

Hmm, yes, given the post is from 2006, the link may be to a tool we no longer have available. I'm wondering with content types if it would even be compelling any longer. Here's a link to our current products page.

Well, it was not actually a qRules issue - this is a common InfoPath error. I think it was just a coincidence that it showed up when you injected - as Ernesto said, if you'd closed the form and then tried to open it again in design mode, without injecting with qRules, I believe you would have had the same issue. :-) Glad you got it fixed, tho!

Here's a post with more details on what Ernesto outlined.

Just for reference, here's a thread that discusses fixing this issue in a template.

We had a little email exchange on this, but I figured I'd update the thread as well. To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to switch views on a field change (unless you use a context changed event). But you could use buttons that look like a checkbox. Attaching a sample.

So much depends on the data structure you have going on - want to put your template in a reply, under the options tab, and I can take a quick look?
(extra points for cute name pun)

I'm wondering if the issue could be postback. Can you try setting postback to always on your checkbox control and see if that helps?

Here's a screenshot showing the form with data entered to match your original data....
