Feel free to attach a copy of your form under the Options tab in a reply if that would be easier than explaining :) Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-21-2020 Re: InfoPath Form opening up condensed in SharePoint So - opening the form looks fine in your browser, but not in your colleague's? Are you using the same browser? Do you both have your text settings the same? Is the form missing sections, or just displayed differently? If you could attach a screenshot under "Options" in a reply that might help :) Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-21-2020 Re: Retrieve Multiple Selection values from SharePoint list to Infopath Mulitple selection listbox This depends on what you will be filtering on. So - if you are going to use equivalence, you can not query on load, and query on the change of the field that you are filtering with. Here's a simple example: You have a list with data that has a "State" column, and the values are WA, OR, ID, CA, etc. In your form, there is a field ... The issue is that we can't add repeating items (groups, fields) with rules in InfoPath. So we don't have any way to copy repeating data from one data source to another out of the box. Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-20-2020 Re: Changing a drop down box to a multiple selections list box (without losing data held in previous stored versions of the form in SharePoint document library) I'm glad I've been able to help you :) Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-20-2020 Re: Changing a drop down box to a multiple selections list box (without losing data held in previous stored versions of the form in SharePoint document library) So - the approach I took was just to remove the control and then change the field - my guess is that with the new field having the same name as the old, you will likely be ok. I would be careful tho - create a test form in the library, save a backup of the currently published form. Publish your new form at a time when no one is using the library. ... Nothing in the Form Load rules that might cause the view to change when the form is opened? Posted to General (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-19-2020 Re: InfoPath 2013 Cascading Dropdown Table I'm wondering - did you create the lists just for this project? Looking at the data in the original form, where you had the values hard-coded, I do think that the list data structures could better support this if they were related differently. That is, have a lines list that has the distinct lines (no valves) - so there would be one row per ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Hilary Stoupa on 10-16-2020 Re: InfoPath 2013 Cascading Dropdown Table Ok, thanks - I can't see the data, because I don't have access to your SharePoint site, so I have to guess a bit. I've tried adding a filter to the Valve dropdown in this copy of the form, but it may take a few tries to get it right, because I can't see your data. To open this file, you need to download it by right clicking the ...
