First off, please check out this KB article for information on encoding and decoding. It will help you with things like setting the file name. To select a node and set the value, you can use the following, changing the xpath to point to your node:

Hilary, thanks for the tip. You were correct, I have added the namespace definition to the top of the js file and the undeclared namespace error is gone, but now I am getting an "Object doesn't support this property or method error" on the following line:
XDocument.UI.alert(e.description);

How you are calculating Price column? If you are using Default vlaue in Text Box Properties window then make sure that 'Update this value when the result of the formula is recalculated' check box is checked.
