Hi Hilary,
I know exactly what you mean in my head it makes sense but in the content of this forum its clear as mud :)
The idea is that the users can see all items in the list weather they are active or not. I know what you mean by the list is going to grow legs but I think that'll be a phase 2 as to if its massive then ...

Sorry - I'm just really having a hard time understanding your description of the issue (I did review the link you posted - that all makes sense). I know you can't attach the form, but maybe attach an image that shows the issue under options in a reply?

I wish that was the case. ;) So the roll out was this.
Scenario:
1. List with a bunch of items - call this "baseline." The list has lookups (lots) that go to a "customer list." There is one for example that is "Agreement Number" that relates to the another list that is called "Agreements." I can ...

Sadly due to my line of work this form is on a closed system that I cannot supply. Sorry
I think that I have a solution that will work for now but am all ears to anything you can write back with.

Ha! Well, that would have been a whole lot simpler. After I copied the table, I iterated through them and deleted the rows based on a condition. Will definitely use that next time, thank you for the help!!

Unfortunately, InfoPath doesn't support this.... in a dropdown, however, if you start clicking on the first letter of the word, it will take you to that general vicinity ... You could also use a second field as a sort of a filter. I'm attaching a simple sample - save it locally, right click and select design, then preview. The ...
