I'm modifying a form, adding a drop-down field with two choices. The form, when published appears in library A and when submitted appears in library B.
I want this new field to appear as a column in library B so it kicks off a workflow based on the choice made.

I'd guess that you need to modify the rules that are setting user name to ensure it is always set to the current user. If you are using a default, do you have the refresh checkbox selected? If you do, you may want to use a form load rule instead.

I truly don't know - Like I said, I've literally never seen this width issue before. If your only user with the problem has a computer that is a mix of computer / tablet, it seems likely that it has something to do with settings on that machine.

Hi Guys,
We currently have a Staff Exit Browser Form that when Submitted, adds the completed form to a SharePoint library. The SharePoint Library then Sends an email Alert with a link to the new xml form. The email is very User Unfriendly and looks like this:
Staff Exit Request - xxxxxx... has been added
(Username)

So - are you also using a 2010 form with logic to submit to a list? Works in preview, returns the same error in the browser?
