Hi,
To my knowledge, there is no way to force the rules fire after the code. If you want the rules to be executed after the code, then add the code to execute the same result as what the rules are doing. For example, if you are setting a field value in rule, add that in the code.

Once check for the variable 'msoxd__getUserProfile__firstname' in script.js. What you are doing with that variable? Can you paste the code that you are using with that variable?

I checked out the link...what does this mean exactly? I am not sure I understand...could you just provide us an example of the syntax that would work? I to get the "window is undefined" error and after reading the link you referenced I am not sure I comprehend the relevance, can you please clarify?

Well, run SQL analyzer on the SQL box and see what it is doing. If it's slow, consider indexing the tables? Probably not SQL, though. Probably data across the wire and InfoPath SQL data connection issues. After downloading, save your form out as XML. How big is it?
