This whole process works perfectly fine if I run it in debug mode. But somehow, when in preview mode, the button event is not firing and the expect SQL execution/excel ...

Hi,
Initially I checked the cannot be blank for a field, but later I unchecked it. But still it's asking me to fill it mandatorily.
I have cleared the cache in \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\InfoPath\FormCache2. Also I have closed all the instances of infopath.
Any idea?
