DVN, I'm not sure on this one as I have not experienced it. Can you make a simple test form with one of the failing data connections and see if that also fails for those users? Can you see if those users can open it on a non-Vista machine? Do you have any errors in the event logs or in the 12 hive logs related to ...

A security error I suppose, as Vista is not allowing that data connection. Have you checked the security settings of your browser settings? I use both Vista (on multiple machines) plus XP to interact with my browser-enabled forms. The only connection that doesn't work for me is the UserProfileService, but that's because ...

Perhaps create a rule that sets another field's value to the function max(@DateField) or something to that effect?

Actually, what you tried should, so maybe you got one part wrong. The way I would do this is to drag the group from the whichever data source will populate the repeating table and put it on the canvas. Remove whichever fields you don't want in the table and move around/format the columns to look how you want.
Then, double-click ...

Change your submit data connection to submit to the library instead of the site.

When you promote that repeating field, you need to choose the merge option at the bottom. Let me know if you don't know what I mean.

Concatenate them together in the proper order so that the field will display the full URL for viewing those coordinates on Google ...

Yes, those 3 rules should be very easy and are correct.
1) Just the library link, but if you do the entire URL with the view name, it will cut that part off after you publish anyway, so don't worry about it.
2) Yes, and this can either be the email submit function of InfoPath that sends the current view of the form within the email, or you ...

So you have both SharePoint and a custom web application built in ASP.NET? You are using the browser-enabled forms in SharePoint (leveraging MOSS Enterprise Forms Services), and are making calls to that other custom web app that's not in SharePoint? Is that all correct?
Well, if you don't know SharePoint nor InfoPath well, ...

1) Certainly. In fact, the holding field (EmailTo) never has to be on the canvas. I just put it there to show you what's happening, and I always put things like that on my canvas during testing so that I can make sure it's working in preview mode. Absolutely no effect to not putting a control on the canvas. I make ...
