• Re: Save as Source Files?

Hi KellUD1, Please check the following: 1- Make sure that you are in design mode and not in preview mode. To see that you have 2 options: Option 1: In the InfoPath title bar, you can see whether you are in (Design) or (Preview) mode. Option 2: Right Click on the xsn file and choose "Design" from the menu. 2- Open the File menu. The ...

  • Save as Source Files?

So a lot of the InfoPath how-to articles I'm finding out there require that I use the "Save as Source Files" option under the file menu. However, I do not have this option (InfoPath 2007). What am I missing?

  • Re: Emailing forms External

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a simpler solution. I don't need the external people to be able to use the form, I just need someway for an e-mail to be sent to them with the information that is on the form. It is almost working now, just that the only information visible in the e-mail are the drop-down fields (very ...

  • Limit returned query using paramters

Hi there I was wondering if there was a way to have a repeating table and, using the query option within a command button, return a query based on paramters on the form. For example, if there was a text field and a user inputted a date and then pressed the query button, the query would return only the dates after the date within the text ...

  • Getting a validation error on a textbox

This all works fine, however when the boxes are required when entering any text the text box has a red dotted line border and the form is unable ...

  • Save as PDF in InfoPath (and Office 2007)

Microsoft has an exporter that allows you to save InfoPath (and Office 2007) documents as PDF files. You can download the add-in here. There is an additional add-in that allows you to save as either PDF or XPS. Click here for that. But Microsoft also has detailed instructions on how to save as PDF in each of the Office 2007 programs. Click here ...

  • Re: Get the display name of the selected Drop Downlist box Instead of Value

An easier way to achieve this (in my opinion) is put both peices of informaiton into the value field seperated by a unique seperator like an underscore. eg. Value Display Name 0_Patient Patient 1_Nurse ...

  • Re: Email validation pattern

Hi Valtteri, You can try this pattern. It covered 95 % all e-mail addresses that I can come up with. ([\w\-\.]+)@((\[([0-9]{1,3}\.){3}[0-9]{1,3}\])|(([\w\-]+\.)+)([a-zA-Z]{2,4})) But it still needs a small bit of fixing as it allows. ex. .@infopathdev.com / _@infopathdev.com ..etc Regards, Samir
