In Infopath 2003 SP2, can someone tell me why this base64 string renders OK in a picture control but not in an ink picture control?
It's a 20px*20px GIF with a single black pixel in the center with all other pixels being white.

That is true that I have a rule and that is attached and that rules retrieves data from AD. Now if I remove this rule it will not retrieve data from AD.
Can I give user friendly message ? or
Can I make rule run only when user id exist ?
I am checking foe condition like IF UserID present or IF UserID not blank.
Thanks

Thanks for your suggestion.
May I know how to concatenate the fields in the onsubmit event. Can it be written as a rule in the form instead of code behind??

You can add data validation that verifies whether the entry begins with a space. See screenshot.
A bit tedious if you have a lot of fields, but easier than writing code.

Hello, and welcome to the forums.
It sounds like you have a rule that is dependent on the Active Directory call. If the AD web service fails, then a rule isn't applied because the user doesn't exist. Can you check the rules in your form?

Sorry--these are special features only available in the header/footer. You have no access to this information outside of the header/footer--even with code.
