Hi,
Please excuse my stupid question.
How would I "make the form full trust"?
What are the implications of this?
Thanks in advance.

This worked .. Great example!!!
Now how do I set the List to pull up a browser version of the form, when I select NEW?

Sorry...haven't figured out where to store photos yet. The shot appears in publishing wizard and when I enable the form to be filled out using a browser I get a message:
"An administrator must approve this form template before it can be filled out by using a browser" and Document Library is greyed out.
Thanks.

Thanks for the help. I agree, I like the using the 'open rule' method.
I will start to use that for my forms.
Thanks!

Hi Lou,
I found this good article from Micrososft about Connecting InfoPath to Access and populating the database from InfoPath.
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA011199501033.aspx
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Samir

Does your form have any custom code in it? Or are you just employing standard InfoPath functionality?

There is a checkbox in the properties for the field that you can select to prevent the field from updating when the formula is recalculated. Generally, though, instead of default values I use Open Rules. Set a condition on the rule to only fire if the field is blank and then set the value in the rule action.

Hi,
I have verified the same as you mentioned. It is working fine for me. Can you check are you setting that value from any where other than default value.
