I am planning to create a simple forum with a field for signature capture, this will be installed in windows mobile PDA devices. After filling the forum the user will sign using windows mobile device.
Any pointers to develop this solution.

We have developed a custom workflow which has its own form for configuration designed in Visual Studio. Want to be able to populate one of the form fields (location) to default to the library. so need to be able to get the url of the current library as in http://domain/site/library

In the designer, go to Data Source in the taskpane and add a field. Choose data type of Hyperlink (anyURI). Click OK. Drag the new field to the view. Now you have a link in your view. You can format it to look like a button. You'll have to use rules to set it equal to the link you want to let them click on. Good luck!

Did you admin approve the UDC connection?
Did you admin adpprove the InfoPath form on SharePoint? This is only required if you have code. Not sure, so worth doing.
In the InfoPath Designer, go to Tools->Form Options->Security. What is the setting? It should be Domain Trust.

Hi,
Add the rules to prespective and scores to set the adjustedscore. So whenever the user enters the value in perspective/scores the adjusted score will be calculated according to your calculation.

What version are you using? Perhaps you have an old version. For instance, I do not see syntax highlighting on the var and from keywords - maybe that's because you have an older version of LINQ. On the other hand, maybe you just cut and pasted from something other than VS.

Add a Boolean field with default value as false to the data source. Set this field to true when the DDL is not blank in open rules. So for the submitted form it is true. Now add the condition to the drop down list as if the Boolean field is false then make the DDL read only and set the value to New.

What seems to be happening is that the focus is being set on the most recent action, which is the action of setting field 4 to a certain value. You could then perhaps add another action that sets field 2 to null (or whatever else works) so that the focus returns to field 2. The user wouldn't know the difference. You also may ...
