  Thanks for your reply. But I would like to perform the submit action without using the code. The scenario is that, when i submit in IP 2003, the introduction part is sent to the users whereas, if i submit from IP 2007, the introduction is missing. Am I really missing something here??

To add to this, these are web-only forms and I'm not sure how much flexibility I'll have in modifying the forms themselves, so doing things upon submission of the form might not be possible.

Browser forms work much differently than rich client forms.  Many things do not work in browser forms, so it's something you have to be aware of and work around.
