I managed to get my Form to write to my SQL Database using DBXL. Now how do I go about placing the browser enabled form on SharePoint? I have tried publishing the Form using InfoPath but when I attempt to submit the form I get an error.
I am not using a form with code, just a basic form. Sharepoint and DBXL are on the same machine.

Hi there, and thanks for trying Qdabra's DBXL v2.3!
These are the steps you'll need to follow once you have designed your InfoPath form template:
1. Create a new document type.
2. Add SQL mapping.
3. Add SharePoint mapping.
4. Activate the form library to ensure forms open in the browser.
It sounds like you've already ...

Hillary...
I think I figured a somewhat circuitous way round this problem... see attachment...
Not sure if it is the most eloquent solution... but it works...
Thanks

Hi all. I am trying to do a basic button functionality thing where you are able to move nodes up or down, in a repeating section or table. Now I know there is some VBScript at http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2005/02/23/378968.aspx. This should be simple to port over to C# (which I need to do) but there are some nuances I can't ...

Thanks. I understand your method, but I am not able to use "foreach." It gives me a syntax error. I may have forgotten to mention that I'm using infopath 2003 as I'm sure that makes a difference.

You can restore your data for all documents at once by relinking them. In my case where I have calculated columns they get blow out as well as any column that is promoted that is being used in a view is erased from that view, not just the data, but the entire column.

My goal is to use a browser enabled InfoPath form on SharePoint that will store data in a SQL Database. I have used the Qdabra Administration Tool to map the fields on my form to the Database.
How do I go about publishing the InfoPath form?

That was it - Thank you so much - I'm still a little confussed why - if I had the field formatted for date and time, shouldn't that have worked?

Hello,
We can do it using Jscript code, first you have to get the list from secondary source and set those values to one temporary node and these nodes should get added to parent node.
var secondaryRepeatingNodes = XDocument.GetDOM(“Seconday DOM Name”).selectNodes(“Secondary XPath of the repeating nodes”);
var parentNode = ...

Thanks Hillary!
That worked like a charm...
One last question... If I am then trying to clear out the absent column for this recently copied field... is this possible?
I have attached a form with my attempt at this...
basically I added a CurrentMeetingNumber field that is a copy of the most recent MeetingAutoNumber
I then added anther rule to ...
