• Re: Userforms and security solutions

Hi Jon. I have done several healthcare InfoPath solutions. You can identify the user and secure these forms. I can show you how to make them completely HIPAA compliant. There are also some other design considerations you will want to look at such as form volumes and search and lookup. Send me an email and I can show you what I know.

  • Re: Looking for a mobile solution

Hi Job. We have done mobile forms using browser based forms. That seems to be the easiest is just edit them in a mobile browser. If you create a infopath thick client that would be cool to see. You can email me and we could discuss the options and what you are looking to do in more detail.

Hi Jamie. I think in 1 you are referring to promoted properties. For 2 I am not sure how RMS works with attachments do these docuemnts have different RMS permissions? • Re: Extracting Radio Button Integer Data

You can export an indivdual form view to Excel, but I do not think that is what you want. You want to be able to graph responses from all docuemnts. This is typical in a feedback survey or where ratings are collected. You need the ability to export your data to a database from each form, then you can use Excel or SQL web reports to create a ...

  • Re: Clear all values from fields

The easy trick for this is to requery your main data source with a value that is not present(does not return any results). Then it will return blank values in your data fields, except for any defaults. So query where ID = 99999 or whatever and that effectively resets all the fields and new data can be added just like a new record.

  • Re: QDABRA Install with SQL Express

Sorry. From the server go to start and all programs and that is where the SQL Surface AreaConfiguration program is. You should not need to connect to a database for this.

  • Re: QDABRA Install with SQL Express

Ok this is a SQL setup. Under Configuration tools go to surface area configuration Then Surface Area Configuration for Services and Connections In the tree view under Database Engine select Remote connections Select to use both. This will allow the connectivity you need.

  • Re: QDABRA Install with SQL Express

The default database is not required and can be left blank. The database is a parameter in the query itself so it can be set dynamically. Are you getting an additional error? You can go to the Event Viewer and see any Qdabra errors. Please email me the text to help troubleshooting.

  • Re: Order of Processing/Eval

Yes that is true. And any data connections set to load automatically are run even before rules.
