Hi and welcome to the forum!
In my blog post (Manipulating Form Versions section > B.6.c), I noted:
Notice that this template (private version) has the same ID as the one that we sent to our external user (public version). Don’t be confused, this template has a higher version number than the one already sent. As we know, forms will open with ...

I just got a reply from the service ppl and the permission is disabled for everyone in domain. Is there any alternative to solving the problem then?
I was thinking of having 2 libraries and setting the rules for submitter and approver in form and then moving it to the second library after approval where only the group has access. But in ...

That is totally OK, because I couldn't tell you the difference between a demoted property and a demented propeller. My primary concern is finding a way to name the XML based on a value in the form itself. DBXL currently can't do it, which is unfortunate as it does everything else smashingly well.

Yes, both of these methods come from the same web service - UserProfileService. They also accept the same parameter for retrieving data. If GetUserProfileByName works, then GetCommonMemberships works, since they work the same way.

I'll try to check with them to see which features are enabled. Also, I've been able to access other services such as GetUserProfileByName earlier, i belive that service is also dependent on the same feature. Correct me if i am wrong !!

Then you'll never be able to use that web service, nor will SharePoint be very useful in terms of people information. Personal Features is a very standard permission in the SSP and is given to all authenticated users by default, so it probably IS still there, atlhough someone may have removed it without understanding it (or without ...

Yes...it is the 5566 error and Anonymous access is not allowed. Regarding SSP, i'm not too sure. Its our service department that manages it and chances are, it the configuartion won't change. If all users who access this form need to be added to that to user the service, i don't think that would be possible.

Oh, is it a data access error? When you show details, is it 5566? Do you have an SSP configured, and in the Personalization Services Permissions, do you have your current user account added (individually or through a group) with the Personal Features permission? Is your web application of this site set to allow anonymous access ...

So you don't get a data access error (5566) when opening the form, but yet you get no data in the web service? I haven't seen that before. Typically, if the web service doesn't work, then it's due to an error of some sort that is detected on form load. When you created this data connection, did you set it to ...

I have tested and confirmed this by using a SharePoint list as a secondary data source and copying my repeating table from SharePoint to a repeating table in my InfoPath main data source. Works like a charm and allows for a snapshot of my repeating data at a point in time. This is useful for my meeting minutes forms so that I can see ...
