I think we don’t have any option to change the font for a optional section. But, here is one workaround to fix this issue.
Open View1.xsl file in visual studio.
Search for “.optionalPlaceholder” in the style element.
Change font style and font family as per your requirements.

"Set a condition"?.
I'm afraid that when I use the start up option "Start when items are modified" everytime the form
will be saved the workflow starts if there is no change of the field ...

I'm new to infopath and developing a form where I need to load user data in the format of "LastName, FirstName" which forms columns of a list. The form which I develope is browser enabled one.

Ok, now you just need to give your form permission to make the webservice request.
In InfoPath, go to Tools > Form Options > Security and Trust and change the security level from automatic to Full Trust. Then re-publish and re-upload your form.
