No idea but it's got to be in the registry. Try searching the registry in regedit. Search for InfoPath and keep going until you find something interesting. :)

Hey Stu,
Why are you pulling 3Mb of data from SQL? Get a Web Service and filter the data server side. Don't pull 3Mb in. It's not a best practice.
Now, if you really need the data, make sure your view isn't trying to show it all - that will create massive performance problems for browser forms. Just hide some of the stuff and that ...

Hi Sekf,
Use the XsnLocation and XmlLocation query parameters to specify which form to open:
http://<your-server-name>/_layouts/formserver.aspx?XsnLocation=/FormServerTemplates/ExpenseReport-Published.xsn&OpenIn=Browser&DocID=25 ...

I'm sure there is, but that's a SharePoint SDK question. Look at the SharePoint SDK and you should find examples of code to do that. Probably a search on MSDN for "SharePoint SDK checkin checkout" would yield some links. Sorry, I can't be more helpful.

Hi again Test User,
This is the most common request for InfoPath and SharePoint.
First, I recommend looking at the support for Export to Excel. It's limited to all leaf nodes, or one child table, but it will allow you to export more than one form. You'll need to massage the data once it comes into Excel. You will probably find that ...

Hi Anonymous Test User,
Well, if you copy those values from your dropdowns and resource files into the Main Data Source, why can't you just treat them as text?
We are working on the next version of our InfoPath plugin (qRules) and it will have support to submit fields to SharePoint directly without having to do the complex ...

Why not just use the free trial Web Service that we provide? It handles the mapping dynamically to multiple rows, and arbitrarily deep child tables and you don't have to write any code which means less maintenance and time. The Web Service is DBXL. It's got a free trial license and the perpetual server license for a single form is only ...

Hey KidCarson,
Our Database Accelerator Web Service (DBXL) supports full text search. There's a free trial download and the beginner server license is only $395. Comes with a SharePoint Web Part for searching your forms, or you can do it from the form. Easy as pie. Qdabra.com -> Products -> DBXL -> have fun, save time/money. ...

Hi Bill,
Thanks for posting. This is not a best practice because it will require full trust (unless you are writing javascript which isn't a best practice because MS no longer supports it and that's because it wasn't secure). Why do you need to do this? There's probably a better way to do what you want that can be done without ...

I think this is hard to do without writing some code. Rules to conditionally hide a section won't work because the view won't repaint until it comes back from the query (you might verify that, but that's my understanding). You need to write some code that shows your indicator and then goes off to query the list.
