Can you provide more information about your scenario? Where is the form accessed from? Where does it submit? etc.
Thanks.

Hi,
I would check your rules. Most likely, there is an error in the implementation.
Without seeing the form itself, it's a bit difficult to diagnose, but surely it's an issue in the rules. In future replies, feel free to attach the form via the Option tab when replying.

Splitting the merge data is probably something that you won't be able to accomplish with out of the box InfoPath. Maybe with code.
But why do that? Can't you query to get the entire XML document and that secondary data source will contain the repeating data (unmerged). Won't that work for your scenario? Tell us more...

Hi-
Those are a lot of questions. Perhaps the best way to get started with InfoPath is to try it out and begin building some forms to get an idea of what you can accomplish. We do have a free training lab available here: ...

It's because your rules are running into a loop. Why not use a separate (third) field where you store the concatenated (calculated) value? I think that should entirely avoid the issue.
(Thanks for attaching the form, by the way. Allows to quickly diagnose and provide advice.)

Hi-
No, the email dialog is read only and merely informative (not editable).
You could have a form field called emailTo and another called emailCC. Then, via form rules, you can set the values of those fields to send email to the correct people at the correct action.
Then your email submit data connection would be set up to send email to ...

Hi-
There's probably an error in a rule or a filter somewhere, but it's hard to know exactly without seeing the form.
I'm attaching a sample form that hopefully helps guide you on how to implement this.
Download the XSN, then right click on it and select Design. That way you can inspect the logic. Then Preview to see it in ...

It's just separation of duty. The Published form is the form that a user will be filling out, so in theory it exists in some shared location, network location, SharePoint, etc.
The saved form is going to be useful for the form designer, to make changes and republish.
You could delete the saved form, but it's never a bad idea to have the ...

Hi Tenbao,
You can certainly encrypt and decrypt without prompting the user for a password, i.e. by using something that is automatically determined. This could be the userName() or some code or web service that calls active directory.
We don't have an example or a document on this, but it should be possible. If you have DBXL, that comes ...
