I would like to add my support for this feature. I found this in qRules and thought it was the answer to my scenario, but I need the ability to save documents to SharePoint and save associated meta data to a doc library too. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out it didn't have this feature.

Another possibility would be to create a section just to hold the doc links. Same scenario as above with a form to upload the docs and a workflow to fill in the link address on the equipment record, but what type of field or section would I need to capture multiple doc links?

Ok, I have that working. Now how do I use the returned information to populate into a dropdown list since I can't set the value of the list to that node.

No, I missed that part in the setup instructions. I have added a value there and it is working correctly. Still have the other error with the getmembersofgroup however. I just now figured something out. If I add a max value I don't get the error about the improperly formatted xml, however it still doesn't return any information.

I am also testing this following the test setup in the user guide for the qdabra adws. I get the exact same error. It is also not returning any data for 'getgroupsforuser'. The standard userprofile service getcommonmemberships is working fine however.

Will rules that are triggered by the field changing run if the field is changed by a workflow?

This looks exactly like what I am looking for except I need to retrieve my values from an external source. I have set it up the way you have in your example but the 'tracker' field does not populate with anything. Is there something special that would need to be done to make it work with values inputted from an external list source?
