InfoPath Dev

I am running Infopath 2007. All I really did was click File -> export to -> PDF. Then I get the error.

The ones in the original fields don't blank out. Just any fields added on to the underlying schema.    Naw you have the idea of it.  This was just part of the requirements from my company. I'm basically using this form to create an xml doc that I will use to update the secondary data source of another form.

No the fields are not locked.  I just create a form using an XML, not a schema. It throws in default values for every field when I create the form. When I update it, it doesn't provide default values for all of the new fields.  If that makes sense lol.

I want to update my main data source (an .xml doc) and keep all the default values set in the fields in the .xml doc.  Even if I initially said yes to "using the existing data as default values", when I try to update it will not update any new values. Any updated info just becomes blank.  Is there anyway around ...

Ok I got most of it fixed but it created a new problem. I have sections of PmtMethod that only show depending on what the user selects. I added the current() function and now nothing is showing up in those fields. Could it be because there is a PmtMethod section nested inside the repeated section? Are those xPath equations stored in the manifest? If so this is a simple fix!

Yuuup, that was it. Thank you so much, this site is amazing.  Wish I wasn't so dumb and decided not to test out adding sections before configuring hundreds of these boxes.  I have lots of copy/paste to do today!
