Hello,
Is there a way to avoid someone from submitting to SharePoint, a filled form that was downloaded and changed on a text editor?
A solution that I've found is to create a validation number using charCodeAt for the fields and validate it on OnLoad. Is there a better way for doing it?

Hi,
I would like to publish my forms on a web server via form service and I wold like to pass to the form a parameter via the URL.
I was wondering if someone know how to do that? How can I say to my field that he will receive this data from the URL?

Instead of that create a data connection to submit data,to a sharepoint library,through some unique name,u can get now() function from the inbuilt formulas,then on button click do this

Exactly. My save function validates the form data, fetches an Id from a database using a stored procedure and then submits the form to a Sharepoint form library. The form closes alright but Infopath and that Getting started dialog opens up instead.

I am creating a form that Business Development managers must submit upon completion of each sales meeting they attend.
The form is submitted via email to my inbox and then is automatically distributed to the relevant parties using rules within Outlook.
What I want is for the form to be submitted as read only.
