Submit form as Read Only via email

I am creating a form that Business Development managers must submit upon completion of each sales meeting they attend. The form is submitted via email to my inbox and then is automatically distributed to the relevant parties using rules within Outlook. What I want is for the form to be submitted as read only. I have added a Read Only view to the form and tried adding a rule to the Submit button to change to the Read Only view and then submit, but it is still submitting an editable form. What am I doing wrong?

I'd suggest having two sections: edit and email. Put all your editable fields in the edit section. When the user clicks a button, you hide this section then show the email section. The email section has read-only controls. Then you send email. Voila!

Is it enough to send the form in html? If you submit form with email there is an option "Send only active view of the form and no attachment".
