this one is driving me nutso and it's so simple - I would just love to know why it doesn't work.
If a textfield (which is autopopulated) = GREATNESSs or GOODNESS, then I want the texbox to be editable, otherwise no. For that textbox, I select Conditional Formatting and I set the following logic: 'Rating does not contain ...

Hi:
I've attached a simple sample to this post. Right click the link in the post header, save the file locally, open in design mode and preview. There's an expression box that uses position() to give 'line numbers' and a repeating table for the items. Of course, this means the user has to use the 'insert' widget to add ...

Hi:
In the InfoPath menu bar, try "Tools / Go To Next Error". If the field in question isn't on the form, click the details button on the dialog box, and it will give you a message about what field is causing the problem.

Thanks for those who are helping me out. I tried both, and still I have a problem. I think I may possibly be misunderstood and I may have said wrong terms. I will try my best to explain it again. While Andy's blog details how to get the full name, you can see it should also be ...

I have one field (an email address text box) pulled from a secondary data source which always displays as 10pt Verdana. All the other fields are 8pt and the properties of the email field show 8pt but it always ends up as ...

Sorry for keeping you all waiting for so long but we had some other priorities in between.
Here's where we are: we have tried the steps that were suggested by Princevis, but it didn't make any difference. Too bad.
But I have tested with a full copy of InfoPath 2007 and then it works. So, our workaround is to design the forms ...

I've edited a form I'd previously designed. When I try to submit a completed version of the updated form I get an error message that tells me a field or group cannot be blank. I've searched the form and I cannot find the field the error message refers to so I might disable the requirement for the field to be ...
