I would use a SharePoint workflow to generate the two types of mails. The form has two buttons. Each button sets a field with a different value (for example, "1" for link, and "2" for rich text). The field is a promoted property which allows the workflow to see it. The workflow has two steps - each send email but with ...

Did you try a carriage return line feed combo (i.e. concat a &#10)?

Sounds like a bug in SPD workflows. Do you have the latest SharePoint 2010 cumulative updates applied? Maybe you can have the workflows write a value to a list and have them check this list for any concurrent workflows and not run if a value exists. Seems like a hack to have to do that, but might be an easy workaround for now. Good luck!

Yes, you should be able to do that. May require promoting the property from the DIP form so that the SPD workflow can see it.

Hi Richter Belmont and welcome,
Are you trying to open these attachments from a web-enabled browser form or from the rich client?
From the rich client, you can do it with code but the form would have to be full trust. Full trust means either configuring a certificates or installing the form. Are those viable options for you.

Hi SB,
Yes, you can definitely publish a form to ShP 2007/2010 that is web-enabled. Even forms with code will publish with admin approval in ShP 2010 if the sandbox is enabled.
If the remove code option is greyed out then you don't have code in the form and should be able to publish just fine.
Please attach your XSN and send ...

I don't remember ever being able to use the arrow keys to tab around an InfoPath form. Tab and Shift-Tab go forward and back but arrow-keys shouldn't have that behavior since you need them for intra-field position movement and moving out of a field will trigger any rules on that field - that's one reason why I ...

Hi Doodguy and welcome,
Use the substring-before and substring-after functions to extract out what you need. To get the substring before a carriage return, you'll need to encode the CR-LF (\r\n, &#13&#10) sequence. I can't remember how to do this, so I just used another multi-line text field (field2) and entered return followed by ...

Hi KingGuru and welcome,
Yes, you can do this using conditional formatting that hides and shows questions based on the answers to others. We have even developed a data-driven survey solution that we demonstrated in a webinar that shows you how to do this.
The webinar was recorded and posted on Youtube: ...

Yes, you can use a Rule to set the value of the query fields in your secondary data source equal to the value of a field in your main data source. Then, add an action after that which queries the secondary data connection.
