Can you please go to your document library -> actions ->open with windows explorer -> forms and check the modified date of template.xsn. note the modified date of template.xsn, then publish your template and check modified date of template.asn. Let me know both dates. That way we will be sure wheter the doc lib does not get updated ...

I want to know that how you are assigning vales to blank? becasue while assigning the values to blank through rules you must be using like " ".
That is wrong way. You should use it like "". Then it will treat your rich text control as blank.

I need to notify the host on click of an image in my browser based form (im using XMLFormView control). I initially tried masking the image on a button, but as many others, even i had the same problem of the image not rendering when I publish the form to MOSS, instead a grey background is only displayed.

Sometime if your server performance is 100% and you try to publish your form at that time it gives you that URL is not valid. While publishing please check your server performance.

If you have the fields set to "Cannot be blank" then they will obviously cause a validation error if you make them blank. Do you have that option checked?
I have no trouble adding conditional formatting to a file attachment control (see screenshot). Maybe that's a difference between InfoPath 2003 and 2007. ...

add/remove programs > microsoft office enterprise 2007 > change > infopath
click on infopath and click run all from my computer.
see if that helps

you dont have conditional formatting on attachment field, but u can put the attachment field inside a section and then have conditional formatting directly on the section
