I'd think you'd use preceding-sibling for this in a formatting condition. See attached sample.

You are using absolute XPaths instead of relative, and probably need current() here instead of the ".". I'd guess something like:
count(xdXDocument:GetDOM("Maintenance")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Issues[@Project = current() and @Resolution != "Fixed"])
But that would have to be in a control that is ...

Well - you aren't promoting Status from the form, are you? I mean, you say it is a hyperlink / picture column you created in SharePoint - so it can't be promoted from the form. You need to promote that URL in your form field to a library column, and then you may have to do something on SharePoint to get the actual image to show in your ...

Hi - if your code is accessing the local file system - once opened in the browser, I'd imagine that code is trying to access the local file system on the server. I don't know of a way you will be able to access the user's local file system from a form running in the browser - I'll ask Jimmy if he knows.

In your screenshot, it appears the column has a value? You may just want to publish the form again and re-add the promoted property - have you tried that?

Well, first, check under Form Options to see if the field is promoted. Verify you know in the data source what field it is, then under File / Info / Form Options look for the Property Promotion category. Is the field promoted?
