• Re: Get Handle To Submit Data Connection Button

    Ok, well you don't have to send the email with the submit. You can just have a regular submit and use a workflow to send the emails. You should be able to get the email addresses of whoever you want without code and pass that data to the workflow for sending as many emails as you need.

  • Re: Browser-enabled Cascading Dropdowns?

    Filtering is not supported in IP/SP 2007 for browser forms. In 2010, we can now do this, but not 2007. You will have to use custom code to overcome this.

  • Browser-enabled Cascading Dropdowns?

    How would I go about creating a Browser-enabled form that contains Cascading Dropdowns in a repeating table (or section)? All the examples I found while searching use the Filter, but supposedly browser-enabled forms do not support filtering??? Thanks

  • Re: Get Handle To Submit Data Connection Button

    I don't use the tool bar that's turned off. I've used a Data Connection that sends email & submits the form. In the FormsEvents_Submit event, I programmatically get the email recipients and send the email. The form is a content type. It's used in a number of various document libs as the only object when a user ...

  • Re: Get Handle To Submit Data Connection Button

    Of course, just do what I said. Completely turn off the "submit" button that is in the toolbar. Use your own submit buttons in the body of the form and do whatever you want with them. Not much reason to use the toolbar items, because you can't do anything with them from a design perspective. Turn off the ...

  • Re: View infopath form in sharepoint without locking record

    Do you have directions on how to setup the form as browser enabled? I recieve a lot of incompatibility errors when trying to convert it. Also it says the form is not associated with a SharePoint site that allows browser enabled forms.

  • Re: Get Handle To Submit Data Connection Button

    When the form is brought up for the first time, the user fills out the form, submits the form to the document lib where it originated from. That's done programmatically. The Form sends email to various people that are obtained from the web.config <appsettings> key value pairs. Don't want hardcoded email recipents. The Email ...

  • Re: Get Handle To Submit Data Connection Button

    Would you rather do that or just use no code and turn it off completely, then create custom buttons in your form that have conditional formatting and perform different actions depending on the person and/or workflow status? I don't think you really need to programmatically interact with the built-in submit button - I just turn that ...

  • re: Automatically Populate Fields from a Drop-Down Selection

    No, it's accurate, but if it's not working for you, then you haven't set it up right. The only way it shows the first result is if you don't have the current() piece of the filter statement working. Look at Figure 4 above - see how it says current(). That's the part of the filter statement that tells the field to reference the ...

  • visual studio C++/InfoPath ?

     Hi yall! I'm new here and am developing a XML form in InfoPath that allows users to enter data. My question is -> Once that data is filled out, I want to give the ability for the user to hit a button and for the data to be sent to a stand-alone C++/Qt application that I developed. What is the best way to go ...
