• Re: fill in 2 values, receive the third

Right now using this formula: xdXDocument:GetDOM("SearchMatrix")/data/dataRow[@rowValue = "../my:Alpha"]/dataCell/@colValue = "../my:Beta" the editor says: "the formula contains no errors". But when I test my form, the output is the value "false" instead of the correct value. I filled the two ...

  • Re: fill in 2 values, receive the third

Hello Jimmy, thank you very much for the xml-file. I've tried to find a program that could create such a list for me, but could'nt find one. This is great! I've been reading a lot of chapters concerning the xpath, but it's still all very "rocket-sciency" to me. I think I'll just go and try some things...I guess I ...

  • Browser-enabled page without Address or Toolbar?

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to InfoPath 2007, but making my way there. I have a question, couldn't seem to find it on the site so either it hasn't been addressed or I wasn't searching properly. Is it possible to set up InfoPath in a way, that when you use a browser-only enabled form (like say, for a client or customer to ...

  • Re: InfoPath either cannot connect to the data source or the service has timed out while submit IPF via webservice

When you submit ur form thru browser it gives you "An Error occured message". Open your form in Client and then submit your form, It will give you error description that which field has problem. Then check rules on that field.

  • Create a word print view with xslt

I have read this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb251011.aspx which tells you how to get and xslt to not be overwritten. I know the basics of xslt, but haven't used it in years. I find plenty of references to - "create the xslt file in word" however I can't find anywhere that it says exactly the format, what the ...

  • Re: Promoting fields in repeating table

You don't have to copy data to show it in another view. You just copy the controls. The data is defined by the field itself, but you can have as many controls showing that data as you want. However, if you need that data in a different part of your data schema, then you'll need to copy it, but I don't think that's what ...

  • Re: Promoting fields in repeating table

Thanks Warrtalon for your quick reply. Is there any way I can create a New View on the Form itself which may have tabular structure, so that on clicking on any button on our current view will copy all the data into separate fields on the New View, where I can just select all those columns I can copy them all? • Re: Promoting fields in repeating table

You can't. That's a weakness of InfoPath and SharePoint - it is unfortunately not addressed in 2010 either. Luckily, Qdabra (the folks who run this site) have developed their own qRule that helps us do this, and it is part of the 2.0 suite that is soon to release. I have tested it and confirmed that it works on IP/SP 2007 ...

  • Promoting fields in repeating table

Hi all, I am having problem with promoting fields in repeating table, thereby exporting them to excel or atleast able to copy them onto spreadsheet. I have tried using the Eval function eval(eval(group2, 'concat(my:field2, ";", concat(my:field3, ";", concat(my:field4, ";")))'), ...
