So the expression works in the client and not the browser?
Maybe the command called SetValue in qRules v2.0 would help.
You might want to reply to the original message so that people who helped you before get a look at the new situation.

Code is usually needed for this. The good news is that your scenario is easily solved with qRules (which is why it was developed, to help people who cannot or do not want to write their own code). The command called CopyTable allows you to copy the entire 2DS table (or specific rows) into the main data source.
The other option is custom code. ...

Some information about the environment:
- MOSS 2007
- InfoPath 2003 form templates (not browser enabled forms)
- The InfoPath form is published as a site content type to a forms library called "Request Forms" (simply stores all of our request forms). This forms library is where users launch the form.

I have a secondary data source (ds) that infopath receives and displays (read only) in a repeating table.
The user will click on a checkbox on each row of the secondary ds table that they want.

Magic. Yes, the WinForm was a piece of cake. I did place it in a separate assembly but that was best with the specific assembly level architecture of this particular application. Thanks for the hint re the web service call - I'll have to look into that.
Best regards,

Drag in controls, expose their values with some properties, and add OK and Cancel buttons that ...

Reasonable questions and suggestion Jimmy - thanks. The requirement isn't all that unusual (in fact I've seen several posts from people addressing the same need) - it's obtaining authentication data from the user if an integrated authentication doesn't work. The full trust is actually needed for other reasons (the main one ...

When you say it won't work, I am going to assume you mean that even with that conditional formatting on the control, it isn't being disabled when those fields are blank, is that correct?
Try one field at a time... is there any chance that the fields appear blank but are not? Make sure you have controls bound to each of those fields on the ...

Please try the attached XSN. No code needed.

I hadn't heard of this feature before, but it intrigued me, so I decided to experiment with it and came up with the same results as you. I even tried invoking the dialog from JScript (which most of the examples seem to do), or casting thisXDocument to an object (which one example did and sort of made sense), and no luck.
What ...
