You might want to take a look at our Database Accelerator product:http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDBXL1 - it seems like it would fit your scenario rather well.
However, instead of storing the entire form into a single xml column, you would be shredding the tables in the XML into relational tables in the database. Although it is not ...

The easiest way I could think of to solve this problem is as follows:
1) Promote the total hours worked per timesheet into the form library.
2) In the timesheet form, establish a connection to this form library.
3) Perform calculations to add all of the previous hours together (from the promoted properties), and then in the form display how many ...

I've had problems developing in IP2003 when IP2007 is installed. The only solution I've come up with is to simply uninstall IP2007. My only advice here would be to do the same and then instal IP2007 into a virtual machine.

What do you mean by the above statement?
You should be able to do this by simply using the eval function as the default value for the text box that you are trying to generate. Check out this post on the InfoPath blog to do ...

Hey Victor,
This sounds like a very interesting scenario. How are you benefitting from generating this XML from C# using the built-in serialization methods?
The problem you're hitting seems like a bug in the XmlSerialization class. The only advice I have in that regard is that maybe you should write your own serialization objects to make sure ...

You could also add a rule in your button to close the form. This is what I normally do.

As long as you develop in VS2003 I think you should be fine.

It sounds like the XML file you are trying to open is meant to be a secondary data source. The XML files that store the Main DOM of a form include a processing instruction at the top that states that. Without this processing instruction InfoPath does not know which form template to apply to the XML that you are trying to open.
Since this XML ...
