Hi!

I have problem when submitting a form to a sharepoint form library. I submit the form when a user clicks a button using rules (Action for the button is Rules and Custom code). I have set the form to close after submit in the submitting forms properties window. The form submits correctly, but the problem is that it does not close after.

I use three rules when the button is clicked: two for checking fields in the form that has to be filled in right, and the third is submitting the form.

Does anyone know why the form is still open after the form is being submitted? Thanks for any help on this.

I think if u use button, the submitting forms properties wont work ....
try to close the form using code in button that submits the data....

You could also add a rule in your button to close the form. This is what I normally do.

Hi,

When you select the Submitting Forms under Tools, click Enable Submit commands and buttons. Click Submit options, then select Close the form. When the form is published to the SharePoint library and your user uses "Fill Out This Form", after they click Submit, the form and application should close.
