Hi,
I need to prevent users from deleting a row from a repeating table based on a condition, but allow them to insert new rows. I thought I could use conditional formatting of the repeating table, but that seems to disable both delete and insert functions.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Elena.

In my opinion your attempt 1 is the best way to accomplish what your're trying to do. Design a new form template based on your Access database. Then on the task pane it should display your datasource. From the datasource, drag dataFields onto the form section where it says "Drag data fields here" select Section with Controls. ...

Secondary data sources in InfoPath are never saved with the XML. The stored data will always only be that in the main data source. So if you have controls on your form bound to secondary data sources, and the user makes changes to the values in those controls -- those changes will not be saved.
You may want to consider a different design. Does ...

Hi --
I may not understand exactly what you are trying to do, here, so please correct me if I've misunderstood. It sounds like you want to create a DB bound form for updating your inventory table? Or is it that you simply want to be able to display all the existing items in your inventory table in a form?
The trick is making sure the query ...
