I want to publish a form template to a non-Microsoft WebDAV server, which requires authentication (HTTP Basic). How can I make InfoPath to authenticate (i.e. set the Authorization header)
(As a workaround I have been using Fiddler to add the Authorization header, but that is not a solution for my users.)

The issue i am having is determining the price field of an external datasource which is a sharepoint list.

I'm using InfoPath 2007 and MOSS 2007 to setup a forms portal. We're looking to provide form templates (running in InfoPath Forms Services within the browser) that the user can submit directly to a sharepoint library and also have the filled out form sent to them via email.
So far I've established I need to have two data ...

you will need to relink the old forms to the document library,
go to your document library -> settings -> document library settings -> relink documents to this document library
