This shouldn't be too hard. What language are you using? Below is some psuedo-code for achieving this:
IssueQuery();
NodeList = SecondaryDom.selectNodes( ''/my:xpath/my:toNodes'' );
if( NodeList.length > 0 )
ChangeView();
else
DisplayMessage();
I hope this helps, if you provide the language that you are using I will be able to ...

I think the problem with appendChild is that you are making some kind of mistake when you call thisXDocument.DOM.createNode(). There might be some kind of problem with the namespace or something, but this should work if everything is done correctly.
However, there are a couple of ways to solve this problem:
1. Create a global IXMLDOMNode ...

Hey edove,
It seems like you've got quite a task on your hands. There might be several ways to do this, and I think you'll have to devise the way that will work best for you. Here's what I might do:
1. Export the spreadsheet to a comma-seperated file
2. Write a quick-n-dirty Java program to parse the file and generate all of the XML files ...

I think it would be weird if Citrix was causing the problem, and I also don't think the number or type of data connections has anything to do with it. When you get this error, have you tried saving any other type of file, such as a text file to the same location? I think you're right when you suspect a security issue, but I don't know what else ...

Hey Myrna,
Did you have a question or were you just sharing your thoughts? Thanks, if so!
I would agree with you - SharePoint can be very helpful for team collaboration. If you don't want to invest in SharePoint you could probably also use a simple network shared folder to do all of the editing. Either way, you need to think about permissions ...

This sounds wierd. It should be pretty easy to do this. Are you sure you're binding the drop-down assignments to the repeating group instead of the node within the repeating group on the secondary DOM? You might also want to check to make sure that the secondary dom is truly getting the full list instead of just one item.

Hey Leo,
As an FYI, InfoPath now has SP2 out and you might find it beneficial to install this. A link to the downloader is on the left side of this page.
How many rows are you dealing with in this report? If you are only dealing with a small amount or are pulling the information over a LAN connection, you can use a quick-and-easy data filter in ...

Yes, you should be able to do this without adding anything to your schema by employing some rather tricky XPath and view tricks.
1. Right-click and drag the repeating group into the view as a repeating section.
This repeating group will be exactly what you have as the input table and it will display all of the rows, but you only want to ...

Hey Rick Rick!!!
I don't think it's going to be easy to obfuscate a JScript form. I think the suggestion for obfuscation was meant to be used in VisualStudio with a managed language such as C# or VB.NET. You might be able to find some JScript obfuscators out there, but I don't know of any. You will want to begin you search more in the web-based ...

I think the easiest way to solve this problem would be to create a Print View that you can specifically tweak to your heart's desire. To remove the insertion links you can disable the insertion ability on the repeating sections in the print view.
For some more advanced printing techniques, check out these ...
