I'm not sure how it happened - but if your library is set to open in browser, you should be able to just relink XML that aren't opening correctly.

May I see a copy of your form? Just attach it under the Options tab in a reply.

Hi - I'm guessing the issue may be in the filter on the dropdown not on the view itself. If you just have the data connection to the view and don't set up your dropdowns, do you continue to get the design checker error where it claims it can't verify on the target server?
I don't think you need to re-query the SQL data connection ...

It is not a silly question - but there is no such thing as an "if" statement in InfoPath. I'm guessing the above is from Excel?
You can add a filter to the data you wish to total - you'd select the field using the field picker and add a filter by clicking the "filter data" button.

Look for the section ...

Is the rule on the repeating group itself? If so - you won't need the "../"
I'm attaching a sample. Save it locally, right click and select design to open in design mode. Preview, fill out the row and click the insert button. The next row should auto-populate with the previous row's values. The rule is on the repeating group.

So - something like this:
../preceding-sibling::my:GroupRepeating[1]/my:Field/@my:Attribute
should do it - I just wasn't sure if your attributes were on the group or on a field in the group. :)
