You should be able to translate the code above into three rules. Rule 1: no condition, fire query to secondary dom Rule 2: if rows on secondary dom > 0, change view Rule 3: if rows on secondary dom = 0, display message Posted to Code (Forum) by Matt Faus on 10-04-2006 Re: Required Fields I know this can be annoying, but I have never heard of a way to change the formatting of the red asterisk. You might be able to do this by hand-editing the XSL that renders the view, but it seems like it would take more time to implement than it's worth. I would look for a workaround. Maybe you could add 10px of padding to the right of the field ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Matt Faus on 10-04-2006 Re: Problem Opening InfoPath Form Hey Angie, So, did you edit the XSL outside of the InfoPath designer? It sounds like you are getting some errors because of this. Does Preview work with the Designer? It might just be that the XSN has become corrupted - this happens sometimes. If you have a backup version you might try reinstating with that. If all else fails, we have some ... Posted to General (Forum) by Matt Faus on 10-04-2006 Re: Location of the InfoPath forms If you are using SharePoint as your document repository, then you will have to use their permissions model to control access to forms. This model is not very robust and actually one of the gaps that is closed by our SharePoint-replacement: Database Accelerator. I gave two XPaths in the previous example, you will need to adjust them to read as follows: (BTW - this condition is to HIDE the row of the repeating section) not(. = preceding-sibling::my:RepeatingGroup/my:Name) OR ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Matt Faus on 10-04-2006 Re: Index refers beyond end of list This seems weird, but maybe on user has access to a list generated from an external file (such as an XML file or SharePoint list) and the other doesn't. This is all I can think of. However, the only way this will happen is if you are doing explicit referencing (instead of looping through all of the elements). I hope this helps, but I think we ... If you simply publish the form template into a shared network folder, you should be able to point users to the template via normal conventions, such as \\server\forms\MyTemplate.xsn . I'm not sure how you could do this with a URN-based solution unless the form was ... Sorry to disappoint you, and there might be another easier way to do this that I don't know of, but the way I described would be the way I would do it and as long as the schema wasn't terribly complex, I could probably process any number of rows in the spreadsheet within a few hours. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Matt Faus on 10-03-2006 Re: Open another form using if else condition By looking at the code, this looks like it should work. To help you debug, you might want put in a few popup dialogs that show you the values that you are working with. Another consideration would be making sure the case sensitivity is not throwing you off. Also, you are not using the sourceBusinessCard variable anywhere, try this: var ...
