Hi,
I am trying a little bit differently to reset fields to blank using XSLT code. Here's my approach:
A. Create infopath template with couple of controls (a drop down, a text box and a button) - See image attached
B. Set ID in button properties to 'reset_code' - See image attached
C. Create an reset_code.XSLT file and attach ...

Hi Ludovico,
I found the "export as pdf" functionality in InfoPath to be poor. I purchased one of the 3rd party "Print to PDF" applications. This does a much better job at creating the PDFs for my InfoPath forms. There are plenty of these on the market, I went with BroadGun pdfMachine.

I am using Query Builder to Query a SharePoint list (Form library). I have added 33 columns to my query. When I build my data connection, I only see 21 of the 33 fields lsited in the secondary data source. I can’t figure out why some are missing. I don’t see a trend. This webservice will only run when a particular cell is blank, thus if it is not blank the form has already been assigned a CR_Ref_No. Yes then the form submits to the sharepoint library and closes. This works ...

A bit more explanation. Our business is construction and each new project uses a stand alone SharePoint website developed from a standard template. The forms are interactive and are required to be progressively completed as the project progresses. Construction periods can be anything from 1 to 5 years.
With each new project the ...

Patrick - This concept sounds like it is something that I can use as well. I my case, I am trying to poll responses from managers - the challenge for me is each manager is responsible for one or more "topics" (for lack of a better word) and needs to complete a series of questions for each "topic". Imagine a table with ...

You are correct that your current architecture would require pulling down at least the start and end date for all your list items. If you anticipate this list getting big, you are smart to be thinking about future performance now.
You could create a secondary data source connection to the list, and not query on load, then use a CAML query to see ...
