You would have to read in the entire list of xmls stored in your form library (into a secondary data connection). Then, based on the username and date, generate the form (xml) name temporarily (store it in a field). Then try to find a match between the current form's filename and the list of existing filenames. If there is a match, display a ...

Good Day!
As I learn more and more about InfoPath it becomes apparent that I still do not know enough. Therefore, I have a question about the OnAfterChange event (using JScript).
I have multiple repeating tables. I add one row and fill out the form and everything works good. However, if I fill out the form and add ...

Hello,
The first thing to check is whether the user has permissions to the SQL data. It sounds like the form is working and you have the necessary permissions, but your other users may not. You'll then have to adjust permissions to grant access to the other users.

The two environments are completely separate. The SharePoint 2007/SQL 2005 test environment is on a test server at work. The SharePoint 2010/SQL 2008 test environment is a virtual environment running on my laptop at home. It's very strange that they both now refuse to run the DAT. thisXDocument.View.SwitchView("View 2");
This code opens a new form, ...

Rejoyce, what do you mean when you say you drag "it" over to the form. What are you dragging? The way you wrote this, it seems as if you're dragging the Contact Selector control itself over to the form canvas, but if you're doing this, then I don't understand why you would expect to get prompted with ...

I have my contact selector set up correctly, but when I drag it over to the form, I do not get prompted for the Contact Selector Active X control. I added it as a Custom control.

Hilary, I'm back at work so I can provide more info about my form. As for the error message I spoke of earlier, it was "InfoPath cannot complete this action because of an error in the form's code". If I use xCollection::insert there is no problem. If I use xCollection::insertBefore (or other variations) I receive the error ...
