• Second view in Infopath not submitting to SP List

    I created a infopath form with two views. ALL fields are in one SP list. When the user clicks a button on the default infopath page, it opens the second page view (second view submits data to main SP list and another list with same fields. Once the second page fields have been filled out and submitted, the form only submits the data from the ...

    Many thanks for replying! So I have created what I would describe as the basic prototype of the form and currently it is only able to take singular orders. The purpose of the form is to take a customers request for a network solution and create an order from that, meaning there were will several devices (routers, switches ...

  • Re: count() not counting - InfoPath2013

    Try the attached - You'll see on the location field I disabled your initial rules and added one to set query fields & query, then another for the count. I changed your secondary data connection to not query on load. You'll probably want similar rules on Device, in case someone changes that after initially setting both fields. :-)

     Looks like it's KB3162075, it's a Security Update for InfoPath 2013, so be careful if you plan to uninstall it as it does guard against a vulnerability. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3162075/description-of-the-security-update-for-infopath-2013-may-8-2018

     I also wanted to chime in that I too am experiencing the same problem with IP2013 and forms that are set for 'Domain Trust'. Something in this last batch of updates broke it apparently. I haven't had time to narrow down the specific update yet. As you pointed out, it's only affecting some forms ...

  • Re: Help please-Solve: Number of days = (todays date - date initiated) ????

    I utilize a separate SharePoint list to help calculate the number of days between two dates in Infopath. This is so I can account for leap years and have the ability to just count work days, not all days. I update this list with new data once a year. Here is the Excel file source for the list containing 2018-2020 data: ...

  • Re: count() not counting - InfoPath2013

    Absolutely - you can add as many fields as you need to the filter. However, how large do you expect your list to get? I'll modify a copy of your form later today to leverage query fields. Then you'll only be pulling back the data you need to count and you can get rid of your Key field.
