InfoPath Dev

After an update on 5/9 we started getting prompts to open the IP filler form with : "The template is requesting full trust permissions and is signed by: "If you do not trust this publisher, you should not open this template. Do you want to open this template?" This is a domain trust form that has been working for years. I have noticed that IP only does this if there is C# (or I assume VB) code behind. Anyway to stop this w/o uninstalling 2013 and re-installing 2010 - which does not exhibit this behavior?

I also wanted to chime in that I too am experiencing the same problem with IP2013 and forms that are set for 'Domain Trust'.   Something in this last batch of updates broke it apparently.  I haven't had time to narrow down the specific update yet.   As you pointed out, it's only affecting some forms depending on how much custom code is in them.

Looks like it's KB3162075, it's a Security Update for InfoPath 2013, so be careful if you plan to uninstall it as it does guard against a vulnerability.

Thanks so much for posting this - I'm sure it is going to help others w/ the same issue.

Thanks!

The patch came back like a bad case of heartburn. We are going to need a registry setting to not make that stupid prompt appear. Or just disable updates until they can be rolled out and then uninstall the KB3162075. Does MS pay attention to this site?

I don't think this site is owned or operated by Microsoft so they probably don't.    I'm pretty sure it's going to take someone opening up a case with them directly for this issue to be resolved.

Thanks, jackdobiash, you are right, this is not a Microsoft site - I suppose the MSDN forums may be an option for posting about the issue as well - with InfoPath having been deprecated, I don't know how much attention MS pays to that either! :-)
