Hello,
I've given up trying to get it working in my SharePoint 2007 enviroment (since my live environment will be SharePoint 2010). The SharePoint tab in DBXL does appear to be very fussy though. I've managed to successfully write to my database using a form I created yesterday. Today I've created a new form and followed exactly the ...

I want to be able to put an odc file up on a non-MOSS sharepoint site. It doesn't have to be a list or anything - just available via the website. Is this possible?
If it isn't possible, is it possible to not have an odc file to begin with? Can the InfoPath file itself store the connection info? Or even set it through code?
Thanks in ...

The fields are populated from a secondary data ...

Are you including this secondary data source (BusinessEntitiesDB.xml) in your XSN? If so, just use the InfoPath filter option to filter and don't bother with complex XSLT since that will likely require code. If you aren't including it and it isn't too large, you can load at runtime as a resource and still use the default ...

Why can't you just enable archiving for a form library and display the forms (which will always be the latest) in the default view?

Hi DaRock_SayZ and welcome,
It's possible it has something to do with the HTML that is generated when the form is emailed. Try creating another view with just a link to the form in it. I believe we have a blog about this on our site somewhere. On the submit button add a rule to switch to the view before submitting the form via email and in ...
